William Gallas’ wage demands could scupper a move to Roma this summer.

The France international defender is out of contract at Arsenal in June, and he is holding out for a two-year deal to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Traditionally, the Gunners only offer players over the age of 30 a twelve-month deal, and this has allowed Roma the room to make a move for his signature.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport claim Gallas, 32, is demanding a wage package which is considered to be excessive by the Giallorossi.
