Andrey Arshavin reckons Nicklas Bendtner is saving his Arsenal Football Club goals for Tuesday.

The Danish international striker missed a hatful of chances in the 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday, but this doesn’t concern his team-mate Arshavin.

“Unfortunately, or fortunately, he did not score today,” said the Russian international after the match against the Clarets. “Why fortunately? I hope he was sparing his goals for Porto!”

The Gunners trail Porto 2-1 in the second round of the UEFA Champions League, and they must cope without injured skipper Cesc Fabregas for the return leg.
