Fraizer Campbell is eager for a run in the Sunderland Football Club line-up.
The former Manchester United striker has appeared twenty times for the Premier League strugglers this season, but only eight of these have been starts.
Campbell has also been asked to play out wide at times, but he has urged Steve Bruce to place more faith in him as the Black Cats welcome Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.
“When you're in and out of the team - some weeks you play, some weeks you don't, it's very frustrating just to get form or anything like that," he told safc.co.uk
"You've just got to carry on doing as you were doing before. Try and make people sit up and think 'he looks like he's having a go', 'he really wants to play in the team'. Just work hard every day.
"I don't like to give anyone [the manager] any headaches, but he knows I didn't just come to just sit around. He signed me so I know he's got faith in me and the time will come."
