Jack Rodwell has been urged to stay at Everton Football Club.

Manchester United are said to be lining up a whopping bid for the £25million-rated player, who has been tipped as a potential future England international and captain.

However, his current Goodison Park team mate, Johnny Heitinga, has urged Rodwell to resist the lure of Old Trafford and continue learning his trade with the Toffees.

"Jack is a very good young player but I think it is very important that he stays at Everton,” said the defender. “He needs to play more games and then maybe one day move on."
