Standard Liege reportedly want to take Dan Gosling from Everton Football Club.

The 20-year-old is out of contract at Goodison Park in the summer, and reports in The People claim he is considering his future at the Merseyside club.

David Moyes, though, is hopeful of persuading him to pen a new deal to remain in his Toffees squad, and is said to be optimistic of a positive outcome.

However, a shock option for Gosling could be a move to Belgium, where Standard are reportedly weighing up an offer to sign him ahead of the 2010/11 season.
