Birmingham City Football Club have set their sights on Moussa Dembele.

The Belgian international is currently plying his trade in Holland with AZ Alkmaar, but he has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, AC Milan and Juventus.

However, reports in The People claim Alex McLeish hopes to beat all comers for the signature of the 22-year-old, who is under contract until the summer of 2011.

The Blues manager will be given a healthy transfer budget for the summer by owner Carson Yeung, who is determined to make the St Andrews club a genuine force in England.
