Huntelaar could make Madrid return with Atletico
09:45 PM 11 March, 2010
Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Dutch international striker has been at AC Milan since the summer, but he has failed to make the desired impact in Serie A having scored just six goals.

Huntelaar also missed chances in the UEFA Champions League defeat to Manchester United, and Goal.com Italia claim Atletico could swoop at the end of the season.

The La Liga club are resigned to losing Sergio Aguero, possibly to Chelsea or Manchester City in the summer, and they are said to want the 26-year-old as a replacement.

This would mark a return to the Spanish capital for Huntelaar, who played his football at the Bernabeu for Real during a six-month stint last season.
