Manchester City Football Club are keeping tabs on Andrea Poli.

Roberto Mancini will be given plenty of funds to boost his squad at Eastlands in the summer, particularly if the Blues clinch a top-four place this season.

Reports suggest the Italian coach will raid his homeland for reinforcements, and one of his targets is Sampdoria’s young midfield player Poli.

The 20-year-old, an Italian Under-21 international, has appeared in 23 Serie A fixtures this season, and it is believed Mancini has had him watched since the New Year.
