Jay Simpson is a target for Celtic Football Club.

The young striker signed a long-term contract with Arsenal back in December 2008, but was then loaned out to Tony Mowbray’s West Bromwich Albion for the season.

Now in charge of Scottish giants Celtic, The Mirror claim Mowbray has made the 21-year-old a target for Parkhead in the summer, when he hopes to land the player on a permanent basis.

Currently on loan at Championship side Queens Park Rangers, Simpson has made 27 starts for the Londoners this season with a return of 12 goals.
