Everton keeping tabs on MLS situation
10:00 AM 13 March, 2010
Everton Football Club remain hopeful of extending Landon Donovan’s loan stay.

The American international has been a huge hit since joining the Toffees on loan from LA Galaxy in January, but he is due back at his parent club next week.

However, with a possible strike looking in the MLS, there is a chance Donovan could be allowed to extend his loan stay at Goodison Park.

"At the moment it officially finishes on Saturday and after the game we'll send him back,” David Moyes told Sky Sports. "I think there's a chance the players might strike over there.

“If that's the case then we're able to keep him no problem. He's done great. He's played in the team and settled in very quickly with the players and he's had an impact so we can't ask anymore of him."
