Redknapp: Spurs are closing on Arsenal

Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are closing on their biggest rivals.

Spurs have made great strides under the leadership of Redknapp, and they currently occupy fourth spot in the Premier League as we enter the final furlong of the season.

Not only does the White Hart Lane chief recognise that his team are now serious contenders, he also believes they aren’t too far behind their archrivals Arsenal.

"The gap is closing," added Redknapp. "We're trying to turn it around but it's not easy. There's not a million miles between the teams.

"I don't think that there will be much of a gap at the end of the season. Arsenal can win the title. They are a very well run club and the manager has done a good job."
