Alex McLeish is eyeing a European place for Birmingham City Football Club.

The Blues came from 2-0 down to draw with Everton at St Andrews on Saturday, a result which keeps them above the Merseyside club in eighth place.

“You have got to believe anything is possible,” McLeish told Sky Sports. "Can we stay above them (Everton)? We will do our best, we'll try, we'll definitely try.

"You see that team and the effort they have made this season, they won't rest and they'll keep trying to get points but we have tough games coming up, and we love being in the Premier League."
