Giuseppe Rossi’s agent has cooled speculation linking the striker with Napoli.

The former Manchester United ace has established himself as a top players since leaving Old Trafford for Villarreal, where he has consistently been amongst the goals.

Napoli have been linked with a move for Rossi in the summer, but the agent of the Italian international insists there has been no talk about such a possibility.

“To be honest, Giuseppe Rossi never asked me about Napoli although someone like him would be useful to any team,” said Federico Pastorello.
