Italy turn to Manchester City coach
Italy may look to appoint Roberto Mancini at the end of the World Cup Finals.
Marcello Lippi is set to stand down from his role as Azzurri coach at the end of the South Africa tournament, and Cesare Prandelli is their top choice as a replacement.
However, the Fiorentina coach looks all but certain to replace Alberto Zaccheroni ahead of the 2010/11 season, thus the Football Association will turn to Mancini, claim the Telegraph.
The Manchester City boss won three Serie A titles for Internazionale, and it is being suggested that he could be tempted to return to his homeland should an offer be made.
