Manchester City star hails Mancini impact
05:30 PM 15 March, 2010
Micah Richards believes Manchester City Football Club are harder to beat under Roberto Mancini, although statistics would perhaps suggest otherwise.

The Blues only lost twice under former manager Mark Hughes, but since Mancini replaced the Italian, they have lost the same number in fewer games.

Richards, though, has hailed the impact the Italian tactician has had on the back four at Eastlands, insisting this has made City a harder side to beat.

"People say we've gone a bit boring now but we are conceding fewer goals and looking at that fourth spot now," he said. “The defence is getting more help from the midfielders."
