Benfica striker makes Manchester City list
07:00 PM 15 March, 2010
Oscar Cardozo is a reported target for Manchester City Football Club.

The Paraguayan international has been in scintillating form in Portugal this season, where he is currently plying his trade for league leaders Benfica.

Cardozo has scored an impressive eighteen goals in just 21 appearances for the Lisbon club, whilst he also has eight goals from nine starts in the UEFA Europa League.

Reports in The Mirror claim he has caught the attention of City boss Roberto Mancini, although the player is sure to come with a hefty price tag, not that that should be a problem for the Blues.

“Benfica may sell but for the best price, which is normal. If he goes, then it will be to a big club,” said agent Pedro Aldave. “I’ve had interest from all over Europe, but Spain or England is most likely.”

The buyout clause is 60million. ManCity is the only English club left that can spend that type of cash. I hope Benfica only sell for the max amount, this guy is amazing.
