Toni targets title and permanent Roma move
04:00 PM 16 March, 2010
Luca Toni hopes to help Roma to an unlikely Serie A title success this season, before penning a permanent contract with the capital side in the summer.

The Italian international is on loan at the Giallorossi from Bayern Munich, and he has found the back of the net three times in six appearances since the turn of the year.

Roma are currently just six points behind Internazionale in the title race, and Toni hopes to help his temporary side to glory before penning a permanent contract.

"At the end of the year I will talk with Bayern and Roma, but I don't think there will be any problems in finding an agreement," he told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Bayern Munich are showing how much they miss Luca Toni in the center...with Mario Gomez injured... Hopefully, Toni will get his wish and be able to stay at AS Roma unless Van Gaal gets the sack at Bayern. Ranieri appreciates him while Van Gaal would prefer to allow his ego and personalities to determine movements instead of what is best for the team. Toni led Bayern in scoring the two seasons he was played. Van Gaal has Bayern at the top now...but just barely with them eeking out wins over teams at the bottom of the table. Keep scoring Luca so Lippi will make you part of the internaional squad!
