Arsenal refuse to accept Melo defeat
Felipe Melo remains a target for Arsenal Football Club.
Arsene Wenger was keen to sign the Brazilian international last summer, but Juventus won the race to sign the player from Fiorentina in a deal worth around £14million.
Melo, though, has endured a difficult first campaign in Turin, and Corriere dello Sport claim the Bianconeri are already willing to offload him at the end of the season.
Wenger recently confirmed his interest in the midfielder, and although the 26-year-old is keen to remain with his current club, the Gunners are expected to lodge a bid.
