Carlos Tevez insists he is fully committed to Manchester City Football Club.

The Argentine international is a huge favourite at Eastlands, have made a stunning move to the Blues following the expiry of his loan contract with rivals United in the summer.

Tevez is enjoying the best season of his career in goalscoring terms, but he was quoted earlier this season that he is ready to quit if he helps his nation to World Cup glory in the summer.

However, the 26-year-old, speaking to a fans forum, has revealed he is at City for the long-haul, something indicative of his signing a five-year deal before the start of the season.

"I'm here for the long term," said Tevez. “When I came here last summer I was offered the big project, and I am planning to be here for the long term."
