Aston Villa Football Club’s Ashley Young found his best form on Saturday afternoon.

In front of watching England coach Fabio Capello, the Villa winger tormented Wolverhampton Wanderers fullback Ronald Zubar throughout the 2-2 draw at Villa Park.

"I thought Ashley was exceptional," said Villa boss Martin O’Neill. "He was mesmeric. If the England manager was here, that can only be good news for Ashley. He really was magnificent.”

Villa led Wolves thanks to a John Carew opener but trailed at half-time 2-1, and only an equaliser from the Norwegian spared their blushes in their hunt for a top-four finish.
