Reina still has designs on Premier League title
10:30 AM 21 March, 2010
Jose Reina will never give up on his dream of helping Liverpool Football Club win the league.

The Spaniard came close last season when the Reds ran Manchester United all the way, only to finish in second place as Sir Alex Ferguson’s men won their record-equalling eighteenth crown.

This year Liverpool have never been in the running after a disastrous campaign, but Reina has assured the fans that he and his team-mates will never give up fighting.

"We always want the best for the supporters and to deliver trophies for them. But even when we are not, they are always behind the team and that is priceless," he told Sky Sports.

"All of us want to win trophies but sometimes that is not the case. It has been a long wait for the fans, 20 years without a league title, and I would just love to be here when and if it happens."
