Tottenham Hotspur midfielder told to stop dreaming
01:00 PM 21 March, 2010
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has some strong advice to Adel Taarabt: stop dreaming about Barcelona and Real Madrid, and stop wishing you played for Arsenal!

The Moroccan is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers having struggled to force his way into contention at White Hart Lane, where he is due to return in the summer.

Taarabt claims both Barcelona and Real Madrid are keen on his signature, whilst he has also revealed that he wishes he joined Spurs archrivals from across North London.

Understandably, this hasn’t gone down too well with Redknapp, who has told the 20-year-old to get back in the real world and focus on impressing him next season.

"He said that Barcelona and Real Madrid are coming in for him. That is where he sees himself going next year," said the manager of the London club.

"Barcelona have not been on the phone today and nor have Real Madrid. When they ring us, we are going to ask a lot of money for him.

"He said that he should have gone to Arsenal which is not a clever thing to say when you are playing for Tottenham. He will come back next season unless Barcelona or Real pick up the phone."

Well, have to say, Taarabat, maybe if you had worked and trained to be in the team you would have been there, in the spurs squad i mean, and to say you have impressed at QPR, lol, OMG, you are joking, you was sent there to get some experiance, not an attitude, your in a lower league, not the premiership, so stop dreaming, if you cant get into our first team, what on earth make you think barcalona or real madrid would hire you to even make the tea, sort out your game and earn the money you was brought for, if we want a winger we will get berbasulk back,
