Homesick Keane rules out Celtic stay
Robbie Keane insists he will return to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in the summer.
The Republic of Ireland international struggled to nail down a place in Harry Redknapp’s starting eleven earlier this season, so he was loaned out to Celtic in the New Year.
As much as the Bhoys would love to keep him, they accept they are unable to afford his signature, and besides, the striker admits he is missing life at White Hart Lane.
“I've got a three-year contract at Tottenham so I will go back there in the summer,” said Keane. "It's just a loan move and always has been. I've got a lot of friends down at Tottenham.
“I miss the lads - I speak to them all the time and they are doing well at the moment. I also miss the tea ladies - they are very good down there!"
