Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have been linked with a swoop for Robert Green.

Although Heurelho Gomes has been in fine form for the Londoners this season, it is widely believed Harry Redknapp is still on the lookout for a new number one goalkeeper.

Reports in the winter suggest an offer for Ben Foster was rejected by Manchester United, and now the Sunday Mirror claim Spurs have turned their attention to Green.

The 30-year-old, a cert for England’s World Cup squad, is currently contracted to West Ham United, but they may struggle to refuse the reported bid of £7.5million being lined up by Redknapp.
