Aquilani set for swift Liverpool exit?
Alberto Aquilani could be approaching the end of his short stay at Liverpool Football Club.
The Italian international midfielder joined the Reds in the summer, when he joined from Roma in a £20million deal following Xabi Alonso’s exit to Real Madrid.
An ankle injury meant the first sight of the 25-yearold came in November, and he has since failed to establish himself in Rafael Benitez’s first team on a regular basis.
The Mail on Sunday claim Aquilani could be one of many fringe players offloaded in the summer, along with the likes of Ryan Babel and Albert Riera.
