Nemanja Vidic insists he wants to stay at Manchester United Football Club.
The Serbian international defender has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford in the summer, with Barcelona and AC Milan ready to pounce for the £20million-rated ace.
United’s capture of £10million Fulham defender Chris Smalling merely added to the speculation, but Vidic insists he has no intention of quitting Manchester.
“I can’t stop people speaking, what can I do? I have said that I’m enjoying being here and playing here,” he said. “I think I have shown in my performances how excited I am by this season.
“What I needed to say I have said and I hope it stops. I am just back from injury and I want to concentrate on football. I am pleased with how it’s going.”
