Hull City striker could be heading back to Holland
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink could be on his way out of Hull City Football Club in the summer.
The Dutch international striker joined the Tigers on a free transfer in the summer of 2009, and he is under contract at the KC Stadium until the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
However, City are struggling near the foot of the Premier League table this season, and relegation would see a number of their big earners depart in the summer.
Reports claim Steve McClaren, the former England coach now in charge of FC Twente, is keen to take Hesselink back to Holland in time for the start of next season.
The 31-year-old began his career at Twente, scoring 63 times in 142 league appearances, before eventually joining PSV Eindhoven and then Celtic.
