Brede Hangeland remains a target for Arsenal Football Club.

Arsene Wenger was heavily linked with the Norwegian international in the summer, but the player decided to stay at Fulham and sign a new contract.

This decision appears to have been a sound one, as Hangeland has enjoyed a fine season at Craven Cottage as they challenge for both the UEFA Europa League and FA Cup.

However, according to the Telegraph, Wenger hasn’t completely given up hope of eventually signing the 28-year-old, and could launch a fresh approach at the end of the season.
