The agent of Bacary Sagna has played down speculation the Arsenal Football Club star could be heading to Italy’s Serie A at the end of the season.

Both Juventus and Roma are said to be interested in the France international fullback, but his agent insists the player is happy to remain in England at the Emirates Stadium.

“Sagna is very well at Arsenal and I don't think right now there may be a club willing to make an important offer for the player," Christophe Mongai told calciomercato.it.

Since joining the Gunners from Auxerre in 2007, Sagna, 27, has become a mainstay of Arsene Wenger’s back four, and has been one of the most consistent right-backs in the Premier League.
