West Ham United Football Club are lining up a bid for Joe Lewis.

The Hammers are being widely tipped to cash in on Robert Green in the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly preparing an offer of £7.5million for the England international.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Gianfranco Zola will then turn his attention to Peterborough United youngster Lewis, who is rated as one of the brightest young goalkeepers in the country.

The 22-year-old, who featured for the England Under-21 side on five occasions, is rated in the region of £3million by the Posh, who look set for a quick return to League One this season.
