Portsmouth hoping to strike Dindane deal
05:06 PM 28 March, 2010
Peter Storrie has revealed Portsmouth hope to come to agreement with Lens over Aruna Dindane.

The striker is on loan at Fratton Park, but a clause in this deal means if he plays another game, the Premier League’s bottom club will have to pay £4million to make the move permanent.

Pompey’s financial situation is well documented, and Storrie, who is now acting as a consultant to the club, has revealed they hope to come to agreement with Lens over Dindane.

“The situation isn't helping anyone, given the position Portsmouth are in," he told the Sunday Mirror. "We can only play Aruna Dindane for one more game without being burdened.

"Hopefully we can come to an agreement. If he plays, and plays well, it puts him in the shop window, helps us out, and more importantly gets Lens a decent fee for him at the end of the season."
