Guzan consider Aston Villa loan exit
02:00 PM 29 March, 2010
Brad Guzan admits he may consider leaving Aston Villa Football Club in the summer.

The American goalkeeper is said to be upset at Martin O’Neill’s selection of Brad Friedel in the Carling Cup final last month, despite him playing in all the previous rounds.

Guzan is now desperate to find regular first team football, and he admits he may have to leave the Midlands club, possibly on loan, when the transfer window reopens.

“I have not necessarily thought about leaving Villa, but I have thought about playing more regularly. I know that I need to start playing,” the 25-year-old told the Sunday Mirror.

“If, at the end of the season, when I sit down with the ¬manager, the plans make sense for me to go out on loan then that is a possibility I will be open to.”
