Fulham think twice over Bougherra bid
02:30 PM 16 April, 2010
Fulham Football Club are reluctant to pay over the odds for Madjid Bougherra.

Roy Hodgson has made the Algerian international defender a target for the summer, and he wants to tie up a deal before the World Cup Finals start.

Scottish champions Rangers accept they face a battle to hold on to the former Charlton Athletic man, and they will hold out for the top price before releasing him.

However, whilst the Cottagers are certainly interested in acquiring Bougherra, it is believed Hodgson is unwilling to pay more than £4million, at the very most, for the 27-year-old.
