Grayson hails his Leeds United players
Simon Grayson has hailed his Leeds United Football Club stars.
The Whites needed to make sure of promotion to the Championship on Saturday, and their task was made all the more difficult when they were reduced to ten men when Max Gradel was dismissed.
However, United came back from a goal down to clinch a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers, with substitute Jonny Howson and then Jermaine Beckford grabbing the crucial goals.
“Fantastic achievement,” beamed manager Grayson on Sky Sports. “Credit to the players. It was a fantastic effort from everybody. We're back were we deserve and hopefully we can kick on.
"We'll enjoy tonight, but it's a fantastic achievement what the players have managed to do, today and for the whole of the season. We're back in the next level of football were we deserve to be I think. We'll take stock and get ready for next year."
