Kieran Richardson has been linked with Birmingham City Football Club.

The former Manchester United youngster has just twelve months remaining on his contract at Sunderland, and Steve Bruce admits he may look to cash in on him this summer.

“He’s got a year left. I have always got to do my job there. If there’s no sign of him signing a new contract...I’ll be trying to do my best to either tie him up or look to cash in,” he said.

It is claimed Alex McLeish has made Richardson a potential target for his Blues squad, as he looks to build on their impressive ninth place Premier League finish.
