Millwall plotting Championship assault
05:30 PM 29 May, 2010
Kenny Jackett insists Millwall Football Club will not just be making up the Championship numbers next season, following their play-off success at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

A Paul Robinson goal was enough to see off Swindon Town in the League One showdown, which ensures the Lions will be back in the second-tier of English football next season.

And Jackett, whose side lost out at this stage of the 2008-2009 campaign, insists he and his players are well up to the challenge of the Championship.

“It's a great win for us, we've done fantastic," he told Sky Sports. "We've had a good couple of seasons and it's great to finish it off this way. If you keep persevering then you get there.

“It's been an excellent decision to push on this year and we consciously made it. Now we've got to enjoy this and look forward quickly because we want to go in the next league and compete."
