Maicon is waiting for Real Madrid to agree a price for his signature with Internazionale.

The Brazilian international helped the Nerazzurri win an incredible Treble last season, but now he wants to follow coach Jose Mourinho to the Bernabeu.

His agent, Antonio Caliendo, remains optimistic that a transfer will happen during the summer, but he and his client are waiting for the two clubs to finalise a fee.

“The only thing left is for Florentino Perez and Massimo Moratti to meet and reach an agreement, and I am waiting for this to happen,” he told AS.

It is believed that Los Blancos want to take Maicon for a fee of €25million, but his current club rate the 28-year-old attacking right back in the region of €35million.
