Baptista linked with Tottenham Hotspur
Julio Baptista is a reported target for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
After securing a fourth place finish in the Premier League last season, all that stands in the way of Spurs and the UEFA Champions League group stage is a qualifying tie.
Harry Redknapp knows he needs to add a little more quality to his squad to cope with such demands, and Corriere dello Sport claim he is keen on Baptista.
The Brazilian international, currently plying his trade in Italy with Roma, has struggled since leaving Sevilla for Real Madrid in the summer of 2005.
However, there is no doubt that he has the ability when on song, and Redknapp will be hoping to get the best out of a player who would cost around £4million.
Baptista has had a previous spell in England, of course, when he was loaned to Arsenal during the 2006-2007 campaign before Arsene Wenger declined the option to sign him.
