33-year old midfielder Dave Brammer has completed a loan move to Port vale from Millwall




Brammer joins on a one-month deal and could play against Lincoln on Saturday. He previously played for Vale between 1999 and 2001 making 83 appearances. He earned his loan deal by impressing in training for Vale.

Manager Dean Glover told BBC Radio Stoke, "He's been talking to the younger lads and helping them, and you can also see the quality he possesses as a footballer.

"His old head is a big plus for us and hopefully the youngsters who play alongside him will learn from that."

Brammer said, "I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing football again.

"Hopefully something more long-term can come of this but we'll look at that when we need to."

"Personally, it's got to go well for me. They've got to like me and I've got to like it here before we can sort anything else out. But you always have your eye on long-term goals and one of those would be to get this club into the play-offs."
