Juventus face a fight to lure Royston Drenthe from the Bernabeu.

The Dutch international was rated as one of the biggest prospects in European football when he joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2007, but he has since struggled for form.

The 23-year-old is expected to be made available for transfer in the summer, and the Bianconeri are willing to offer him a move to Serie A ahead of next season.

However, according to reports in Diario de Noticias, Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon are set to make an offer for Drenthe, and have already been in touch with the Spaniards.
