Barnet free agent moves to Bristol City instead of Blackpool
Albert Adomah has moved from Barnet to Bristol City on a free transfer, despite previously being linked with a move to Blackpool by his agent.
Adomah's agent, Tony Finnigan, hinted at a move to Blackpool in the January transfer window, saying, "Barnet made an excellent offer to the player, but he deserves a run at a higher level.
"I would love him to team up with my good friend Ian Holloway at Blackpool as he improves players.
"He knows how to get the best out of young players."
Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous confirmed at the time that the club would not have stood in Adomah's way should they have received an acceptable offer.
In May, Barnet made an eleventh hour bid to keep Adomah at the club by offering Adomah a 20% increase on the original contract offer which would have made him the highest earner in the club's history anyway.
On the 28th of May it was confirmed that Adomah would not be signing a new contract and on 1st July he signed for Bristol City.
