Allardyce eyes Tottenham Hotspur forward
Giovani Dos Santos is a shock target for Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
The Mexican international has struggled to get to grips with the Premier League following his 2008 move from Barcelona to Tottenham Hotspur.
In fairness to the forward, he joined Spurs at a time when they were struggling under Juande Ramos, and competition for places is fierce in Harry Redknapp’s squad.
Injuries have also hindered his chances at White Hart Lane, but he has impressed during loan spells in the Championship with Ipswich Town and in Turkey with Galatasaray.
According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Sam Allardyce is keen to add the 21-year-old to his Rovers squad this summer, in a deal which would excite the Ewood Park crowd hugely.
However, it is widely believed that Giovani, who had a fine World Cup Finals in South Africa, is keen to return to Tottenham and fight for his place in the starting eleven.
