Kenny Dalglish believes Liverpool Football Club should buy another striker in the New Year.

Despite spending over £45million on Fernando Torres and Robbie Keane, the former Reds manager believes Rafael Benitez still needs to add more firepower to his squad.

“I think they need to start looking at scoring goals and that's something for the January transfer window," Dalglish said on Sky Sports show Goals on Sunday.

A 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur, coupled with Chelsea’s 5-0 hammering of Sunderland, resulted in Liverpool losing their status as Premier League leaders on Saturday.
