Bhoys move thrills Sunderland forward
06:30 PM 16 July, 2010
Daryl Murphy is delighted to have joined Celtic Football Club.

The Republic of Ireland international has been with Sunderland since 2005, but he was not considered a key first team player by manager Steve Bruce.

Murphy has now completed what he calls a dream move to Parkhead, and the 27-year-old, who had a spell at Ipswich Town last season, is clearly delighted with the deal.

“Being Irish, I grew up with Celtic everywhere and as a kid I supported them,” he said."The club's history, the fans - there are a million reasons why I joined."
