Hassan Yebda has emerged as a potential signing for Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

After comfortably steering the Whites to survival in the Premier League last season, Owen Coyle is looking to gatecrash the top-ten during this time round.

It is believed the Scottish tactician has set his sights on midfielder Yebda, who made eighteen appearances during a loan spell at Portsmouth last season.

The 26-year-old Algerian international, who played in the World Cup Finals, is currently contracted to Benfica, who signed him on a free transfer in the summer of 2008.

Yebda is under contract at the Stadium of Light until the end of the 2011-2012 season, but they are believed to be willing to let him move on for the right price.
