Nyron Nosworthy is closing on a move to Sheffield United Football Club.

The 29-year-old made nineteen Championship starts for the Blades during a loan spell last season, as he struggled to find regular action at Sunderland.

The Premier League side have now confirmed that Nosworthy is in talks with the Bramall Lane club, who are interested in taking him on loan for the new campaign.

"Nyron has travelled to Sheffield for talks over a possible loan move for next season," said Black Cats assistant manager Eric Black. "They have a long-standing interest in him.”
