Tom Cleverley is said to favour a move to Newcastle United Football Club.

Sir Alex Ferguson has high hopes for the winger at Manchester United, but he is some way off the first team picture at the star-studded Old Trafford.

Cleverley had a fine loan spell at Watford last season, and now the Reds are looking to loan him out to a Premier League side for the coming season.

According to the Sunday Sun, the 20-year-old is interested in joining the Magpies for the 2010-2011 campaign, following speculation linking him with St James Park.

Whilst there is no chance of Ferguson letting Cleverley leave on a permanent basis, such a temporary move would give the youngster some priceless top-flight experience.
