Chelsea Football Club have again stated that Didier Drogba is simply not for sale.

The Ivory Coast international was linked with a shock £20million move to Manchester City last week, in a deal which would have stunned the footballing world.

However, the Premier League champions were quick to deny the 32-year-old was heading out of Stamford Bridge, and they have reiterated this stance.

"Didier will be a Chelsea player next year. Didier is under contract," chief executive Ron Gourlay told Sky Sports News. "Didier Drogba will be a Chelsea player next year."
