Ipswich Town Football Club are closing on Marton Fulop.

The Tractor Boys initially wanted to take the Sunderland goalkeeper on loan, but it appears as though Fulop could be heading to Portman Road on a permanent deal.

“We originally wanted to do the deal on loan, but then it moved on a bit and it became talk of a permanent signing," manager Roy Keane told the Chronicle.

"We've talked a lot about a number of things, but hopefully in the next 24 hours something can happen, although we've another target that we are looking at.”
