Valon Behrami is keen to leave West Ham United Football Club.

The Swiss international has become a popular figure at Upton Park since his arrival from Lazio two years ago, but he is keen to exit the London club before the window closes.

"He doesn't want to be here, his wife doesn't like London - but he cost us £6million,” said co-owner David Sullivan. "He's actually a very decent player and I'm surprised we've not had a bid for him."

A return to Serie A looks most likely for Behrami, and he could even head back to the Italian capital with reports suggesting Roma are interested.
